Asunto Studio teamed up with Tru Cinnamon to create a Brand MVP that brings their simple yet meaningful drink to life. We developed branding, product and digital designs, along with photo and video production that reflect Tru Cinnamon’s core values. It's all about celebrating the age-old benefits of Ceylon cinnamon and the joy of making mindful choices. With every cup, Tru Cinnamon encourages you to take a moment to savor and enjoy a little more balance in life.

Brand Positioning & Story

The journey to create Tru Cinnamon's brand positioning and story began with a deep discovery phase. We started with a brand questionnaire, followed by an in-depth conversation with the founder. This session sparked many of the core strategies and ideas for the brand. With the insights gathered from this workshop, our team came together to craft the brand story and key messaging. While naming is often part of our process, Tru Cinnamon’s founder had already chosen a name that perfectly captured the essence of the product.

Brand Identity & Guidelines

Inspired by the brand story, our graphic design team begins the process of developing Tru Cinnamon's visual identity. We start with research to explore various graphic styles, color palettes, and font options that align with the brand's essence. From there, our designers experiment and refine these elements, crafting a cohesive and distinctive look. Throughout this creative journey, we include the client in a collaborative review process, ensuring their vision and feedback shape the final identity. The result is a set of brand guidelines that truly reflects Tru Cinnamon’s unique character and values.

Content Creation

After finalizing the brand guidelines and messaging, the next step in the Brand MVP package is content creation. We kicked off this phase with a set of portraits of the founder, coupled with an in-depth interview to capture the essence of the brand story. Following this, we conducted a product photoshoot for commercial use, along with an experimental photoshoot to inspire and elevate the brand's visual identity. To round out the content package, we curated a selection of imagery from online sources to complement the brand’s aesthetic. This comprehensive approach ensures the Brand MVP includes a rich mix of founder portraits, product shots, experimental visuals, and relatable imagery for the target audience.

Social media

With the brand identity, messaging, and content creation completed, the final step in the Brand MVP package is crafting a compelling social media strategy. Using the rich mix of portraits, product photos, experimental images, and curated visuals, we developed a series of engaging social media posts tailored to Tru Cinnamon’s target audience. Our approach focuses on telling the brand story through authentic, relatable content, including snippets from the founder’s interview and creative product features. This initial package provides a solid first step towards establishing a basic online presence, featuring 18 posts that showcase a bit of everything while maintaining consistency with the website and other brand assets. It’s a foundational effort designed to start building brand awareness and connect with the audience in a meaningful way.

Website development

The website is the home of the Tru Cinnamon brand, bringing together all the elements of the Brand MVP in one place. It showcases the brand’s story, identity, and messaging, with a consistent design that reflects the portraits, product photos, and curated visuals. As the central hub, the website allows visitors to explore Tru Cinnamon’s values, products, and journey, creating a cohesive and engaging brand experience. It’s the foundation for building a strong connection with the audience.

Collateral

The collateral for Tru Cinnamon brings the brand to life through thoughtful designs, from the minimal bottle and delivery packaging to the comprehensive brand decks. We also created an influencer tasting box with wellness routines and challenges to engage and share the brand’s essence. With these elements, the Brand MVP has everything needed to keep evolving and expanding Tru Cinnamon’s presence.
